One of my all-time favorite lines in film history is in The Never Ending Story when the young hero Atreyu asks Gmork, the evil wolf sent forth by the Nothing to kill him: "Who are you, really?" The question many of you have is the same for me. Who am I...really? Well, for starters, I'm not a Martian, Klingon, Vorlon, or genetic offshoot of any other real or imagined extra-terrestrial race. Contrary to popular belief, I'm also not a Jedi Knight (maybe in my next life if I'm lucky!). What I am is an eccentric (maybe borderline crazy), heavy metal lovin', Tommy Lee outdrinkin', girl-hawkin', patriotic red-blooded American male with island roots and dreams of becoming the next George Lucas (Well, I can dream, can't I?). So if I'm so cool you ask, why no author photo? Two reasons. 1. I've gotten carried away with my online persona as the "Masked Author." 2. Trying to ride the anonymity train for as long as it goes. So when can you expect to see what I look like? To borrow the title of a popular UB-40 song, "I want to make you sweat"...well, at least for a little while longer!
Great news everyone! Rogue Hunter: Alliance is finally complete. It's currently going through a grueling vetting process to get it ready for publication. Barring some unforeseen event, it should be ready for the public by New Years Day. In the meantime, the omnibus edition of Rogue Hunter: Gaia will be available by November. Also, look out for the paperback edition of Quest of the Hunter. It's going to make a great stocking stuffer for Xmas!
